South Africa / Luxembourg ExecuJet Africa is proud to announce that it has received five awards at the 2023 South Africa Civil Aviation Industry Awards.

ExecuJet was announced as the winner in four categories, which include the Aviation Innovation award, People Development award, Aviation Security award and Aviation Customer Services award. Aside from these, ExecuJet was awarded first runner-up for the Aircraft Operator award, in which the company contested against all aircraft operators, including scheduled airlines. ExecuJet was also among the top five finalists in two additional categories, which include the Aviation Support Services award and the Aviation Safety award.

The Civil Aviation Industry Awards, organised by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA), recognise and laureate South African aviation entities for excellence in various categories. During the 2023 Awards, the SACAA was also congratulated by the Minister of Transport for achieving a 91.11% rating from the International Civil Aviation Organisation and for its 25 years of history.

Patrick Hansen, CEO of Luxaviation Group, says: "We are extremely proud to see that the work our teams are doing is being recognised and rewarded. These accolades are a testament to the innovation, dedication and continuous pursuit of excellence for which ExecuJet and the Luxaviation Group strive, always with our customers as our first priority.”

Gavin Kiggen, Vice President of ExecuJet Africa, President of Aircraft Sales and Acquisitions, says: “Having also been awarded in the previous instalments of the awards, in 2018 and 2019, this recognition means that ExecuJet truly aims to drive aviation forward to the best of our ability. I would like to congratulate all my colleagues, without whom these achievements would not have been possible.”

ExecuJet had received the winning trophies for the categories of Aviation Customer Services and People Development, and first runner up for Aviation Support Services, at the inaugural awards function in 2018. The second awards ceremony held in 2019 saw ExecuJet being awarded with first runner-up for the Aircraft Operator Award and second runner-up for the People development award.

ExecuJet’s presence in Africa aims to offer a comprehensive array of services, which include corporate aircraft charter, aircraft management and insurance, fixed base operations, aircraft sales, cargo charter, tours and safaris, and full concierge services.
