Heraklion International Airport (HER), "Nikos Kazantzakis," is Crete’s busiest airport and Greece’s second-largest. Located near Heraklion, the capital of Crete, it is an older airport that will soon relocate all operations to the newly constructed airport (Kasteli Airport).
