Faro

Mário Venda has been the Faro Station Manager since 2014, with over 24 years of experience in aviation, particularly Business Aviation.

After graduating in Hotel Management and Tourism in 1996, he honed his skills in the tourism industry before starting as a Ground Operator in commercial aviation at Faro International Airport in 2000. In 2011, he transitioned to business aviation as a Traffic Assistant, eventually joining the company in 2013 as a Traffic Agent before assuming his current role.

Customs, Immigration, Entry Permits and Visas

All Operators (EU and NON-EU) operating all type of flights must fulfil the System of Means of Transport and Summary Declarations (SDS) on the Portuguese Customs electronic platform before arrival at Faro – LPFR. Sky Valet Portugal can be appointed to fulfil this task on behalf of the Operator
Goods brought into the customs territory of the Union shall be presented to customs immediately upon their arrival at the designated customs office

Landing Permits

All Operators of Commercial flights scheduled or not scheduled on non-EU routes must have prior permission from ANAC with 3 working days in advance
